Rack and Pinions...

I think I've blown the driver's side seal for the power steering section of the rack and pinion, I wanted to attempt to rebuild it but it seems like it's extremely difficult and intricate. If anybody knows of a detailed post or has an instruction set for that, I'd really appreciate it.

I don't believe the first section will be successful so I have lined up getting another used rack for 75 bucks, the problem is that it's off of a 2WD 4runner, does anybody know if the 2WD and 4WD have the same rack and pinion?

I believe they do yes, there was just a discussion about where people are sourcing new racks and some said from 2wd runners at junkyards. might have o make sure both are same motor
