Keep in mind that the rear section of that awning will interfere with the rear hatch opening all the way.

I'm looking at the Rhino Rack Foxwing which does essentially the same thing as the Eezi-awn. But the rear hatch is also a concern. I am considering if/when I get one, simply making a slightly taller mount to clear the rear upper spoiler and then adding some sort of limiting lines to the hatch to prevent it from opening completely. I'm still chewing on options while I wait for the awl field to settle down.

Wrap around awning for 5th gen

Anyone pull the trigger on a wrap around awning for 5th gen, I am curious how the issue with opening the back hatch works, if it hits, if you can just mount it higher or rig up a string to hold the hatch down some...

The legs of the awning were clipped into small brackets on the side of the vehicle, at about a 45 degree angle. Does anyone know what awning this is? I've been looking at a lot of awnings Google and haven't seen one set up like that.

I'm no help but I know the feeling. I saw one on Facebook that has 90 degree wings front and rear for full coverage down one side. But for the life of me I can't find it again......

I use the bajarack awning mounts. They are easily replicated by someone with 1/2 the fab skills SocalTrail.

Do you think these would work on the stock cross rails?
