Are you sure Andre was providing a 700# rear spring?

The AllPro 3.5's are approx 207# rate. Stock is 180#.

I thought Andre offered 650# & 700# front spring options.

I was under the impression that they were 700lbs all around, I know when I ordered mine Andre asked me what I wanted to do with my 4Runner and suggested I hold off a bit as they were waiting for another shipment of the 700's from Eibach at the time.

I'll shoot him a PM later today when I get the chance on T120.

@egbt18t is correct, OW rear coils are 220# and the fronts came with 650# on the 2.0 and and 700# on the 2.5.

700# rear coils would be insane! Even the custom ones that all the rear bumper guys get are only 240/300# dual rate, lol. And folks thought the OME 896's rode rough @ 318#, lol.

Of course. You can use whatever brand shock you like as long as it fits the truck.

You may want to read some of the recent radflo comments. Seems like there several folks dissatisfied. I don't know if something changed, but might be worth sending a few PM's.

I will definitely look into this thanks for bringing it up, it was between radflo and bilsteins so might have to just go with bilsteins

I don't know what the complaints are about. I absolutely love my Radflo 2.5 with 700lb springs . No complaints at all

Could you link some of those? I have a 2.5" OLW kit I got before OLW shut down and I absolutely love mine and haven't had any issues. I'd like to get an idea of any common failures and/or issues.

Just got a reply back from Andres;

"Nope the front IFS needs 700lb/in coils due to IFS, etc. The rear is actually 220lb/in, similar to the AllPro springs, the AP ones are juts taller and quite a few people used them with higher loads."

Regarding the Radflo issues, I seem to recall recently 2 members, Jediwebdude and HOJeepster, blowing 2.0 rear shocks out and replacing them with Billy's... I think Jeepster was also dissatisfied with the on-road ride harshness and maybe even the infamous "clunk" from the 2.0 fronts... Check their build threads and ask them for feedback. Should give you some insight into their thoughts. The boys I wheel with have 2.5 Radflo fronts and one has 2.5 rears and the other has Icon VS 2.0's... Both of them ride like butter.

Bilstein and Radflo are in different categories. Radflo fit with Icon, Fox and King.

I wil have to search a bit. But there was a thread or 2 in the gen 5 area talking about an 'annoying' clunk.

I recall Glen (Radflo) indicating the clunk was normal as they are race shocks with solid mounts and clunks were to be expected. Now these issues might be anomalies or isolated on new version, not sure.

I almost bought Radflo, but opted for Fox based on my past experience with them. Icon has an excellent reputation also. In all reality your set of RadFlo's might be perfect. I just fly it was pertinent to mention before you spend the $$.
