Radflo 2.5's wrong spring rate?

Recently installed my Radflo 2.5 kit with 700 lb coils. After the install the front is sitting lower than I expected. I gained maybe 1.5" in front.

Here's the part number on the coils: 1400.300.0600S (I'm assuming the '600' means 600 lb coils and not the 700 lb ones I ordered).

Can anyone confirm my suspicions or been in the same situation? I've contacted Metaltech and am waiting on a reply.

You have to adjust the coilover accordingly. They are set at 1.5" when you get them. It took me a few hours to get mine sitting just where I wanted on 600 lb springs.

Yea, you should be able to adjust to the desired height. You are correct though, the last number is the spring rate, those are 600lb coils.

Thanks guys. I had the sinking feeling I was sent the wrong coils.

Hopefully Metaltech will sort this out promptly for me.

Funny how the simplest installs always turn into a major headache.

Well, Mike @ Radflo was quick to reply (as always!) and confirm I have the 600lb coils (not the 700s I ordered). In addition, the overland warehouse valving specs are based on the coil rates used so chances are the coilovers not only have the wrong springs but the wrong valving as well.

Metaltech said they'll get back to me first thing Monday and hopefully I can get this resolved. Pretty worried about the valving on my rear 2.5 shocks now at this point.

Glad you called metaltech, you were correct on the part number of the springs indicating the spring rate.

Thanks man - I certainly hope they come through. Metaltech is figuring it out with Radflo and I should have a resolution by this evening. My truck is my daily driver and after already dealing with frozen cams on the front end rebuild (several day setback due to waiting on dealer parts) I really can't afford anymore downtime with the truck.

Not to mention seeing all those dialed in lift installs like yours is killing me haha.

Hope they get this resolved for you and hopefully moving forward they will make sure they get out the correct product. Anyone looking to order Radflo, I would recommend ordering directly from them that way you know what you are getting.

UPDATE: Metaltech came through and are sending out the proper coilovers so I can just swap them in.

Given the situation, LT and Brandon at MetalTech 4x4 and Mike at Radflo were informative and stepped up to take care of the issue. I wouldn't hesitate to order from either one again.
