Radiator compatability question

The radiator core I am having rebuilt for my '85 4runner, is from a pick-up truck, and seems to be 1" greater in height. The gain is on the bottom end, so it will hang 1" lower than original.......
.....so, A) Will it fit?......
.....and B) what about the hoses?
The mounting holes are in identical locations.

OK, how 'bout this approach to my question.....
......can anyone with a first gen use a tape measure, or even 2 fingers, and look under their radiator, and see if there is an inch of room to spare between the radiator and any other part of the truck, below that point?

I'll check mine in the morning. Should be no problem with the hoses, long as you've got one top right and one bottom left there should be no conflict.

Thanks, I am worried that the bottom hose would be too short or something like that......and obviously, clearance on the bottom end is priority.

Plenty of room! Nothing at all under this one. This is under my buddy's '84 runner. Sorry for the sideways pic! Posting from my phone and it does that sometimes. :shrug:.

Mine sits about an inch and a half from the bottom of the front crossmember, and an inch away.
