I was in process of flushing out the radiator. I guess the top popped and it overheated.. I think I have a hole in the rad. I was gonna dump some sealant, but it wasn't suggested.. should i pull it out and get it repaired? I hope I didn't hurt the engine, cuz I thought I heard some funny noise.

I was using prestone rad cleaner stuff. It said to add solution+water and drive around for 3~6 hours. Dunno if the engine overheated cuz the temp gauge didn't move at all but the rad was smoking.
If it were mine, I think I'd drain that cleaner crap out, fill 'er back up with 50/50 (works well in the Midwest), and see what happens. You'll have to drain the radiator anyway if you were to replace it. If it is bad you could drain and save the fluid to put in your new radiator.
I don't know how much it would cost to repair the radiator. When the radiator on my (non-Yota) rig started to go, I swapped it out for an all metal 3 row radiator. The stock radiator was leaking where the plastic (!!!) met the metal. I ordered mine from RadiatorBarn.com and only have good things to say about them - cheap, fast shipment, good product, free T-shirt.

repairing will cost a lot less than replacing it. did your aftermarket radiator give you any performance boost? If it's better than stock, it should cool the engine temp better. The water won't fill up. gotta find where the leak is coming from.
I'd say the replacement functions at least as well as if not a little better than stock. Where I notice the most gain is after it gets a little caked with mud driving offroad. The I6 engine does have a bit of a reputation for running warm anyway. It's nice to have a 3-row radiator rather than the stock 2-row.
