Looking at options to replace my radiator and see there are actually what appears to be a thinner radiator that sits in front of the larger one. It is about the same size as the one with the fan shroud bit sits just begind the grill. Probably a dumb question but what is this for? It does not appear to be a tranny cooler but could be??

Yep, thats the A/C condenser like 5vz said.
