Radio and speedo suddenly drop while driving

Hey guys,
Just started tonight and happens every minute or two. The radio will just completely turn off for about a second or two and then light up again and keep playing like normal. Also the speedo will suddenly drop the same time as the radio goes off (like if I'm going 60, it will quickly drop to 20 and then go back to what speed I'm actually going).
Gonna check battery terminals tomorrow, but wouldn't that cause the whole car to lose power? My headlights and dash lighting stay on. Gonna have a video of it up soon.

Would love to hear what you guys think as I know 0 about electrical stuff

Likely your alternator. Go to an auto parts store they would be able to tell you the condition of your battery and alternator with a diagnostic tool.

When the alternator is dying, you'll get really funny electrical problems that are a random annoyance until one day that battery isn't charged haha. Worth checking the battery too, since thats fairly easy
