Radio ID # after battery disconnect

I searched but no luck. So I have been reading the owners manual. It states to have the radio ID when contacting the satellite radio company. It says to dial in "0" station and up pops a 8 digit radio ID.

Is this the receiver ID I would use to get the radio running after I disconnect the battery for a computer flush to try and improve fuel mileage and other habits the ECU has picked up?
