Radio not working when hot?

I got in my truck yesterday after it sat all day in the sun at work (95 degrees and humid), and when I started it up, the radio didn't come on (non-jbl system). I hit the power button several times, and tried the mode button on the wheel too. After a few minutes with the a/c running, it came on, and I want to say the sound came before the display.

After that, all was fine. Has this happened to anyone else?

My CD player quit on me, 6CD changer with cassette player, jbl I think.

Update: At lunch today, while sitting in the heat, the radio came on right away, but the actual display did not.

What can you expect from cheap POS they pun in our 4th gen's. Mine JBL is fine but I got Pioneer unit years ago. Your rig and your ears deserve better HU than OEM junk, upgrade my friend.
