Radio replacement?

I just purchased an 08 4Runner with the stock radio. I purchased the JBL Synthesis radio off of EBAY. Is this just a swap of one radio to the other or will I need some extra wiring etc. ?? Thank you for your help!!

The JBL radio only works with a separate amplifier which is mounted on the subwoofer in the passenger side rear quarter panel. You will need to fabricate your own cable from the amp to the H/U, and obtaining the connectors for the H/U and the amp is almost impossible. I would recommend one of the Scion radios which are plug and play and have more output power than the stock radio. Check out the sticky in the Audio and Electronics section.
