So...after nearly a year of ownership and 38,466 miles, I took the plunge into my first real upgrade.

A huge shout out to Dustin at FN Wheels! I'm the proud owner of Matte Bronze f(x) Pro wheels and some Big-O branded Cooper AT/3's (I have a buddy who is a General Manager, so I got a killer deal).

Suffice to say, I LOVE the look and despite a heavier tire than the stock tires, the wheel weight is ~6lbs less, so my fuel economy is basically the same! Averaged 23.3 (calculated) from Gunnison to Denver, going up over Monarch Pass, Trout Creek Pass, Red Hill Pass, Kenosha Pass and Crow Hill on US-285 to home.

Given the much increased traction, I sense more upgrades will come...(like the rear diff breather mod [to engine bay] and probably by Spring 2016 a moderate lift (Toytec Boss).

What size tire did you go with?

I'm really on the fence about going 265 or 275 when I upgrade from the stockers.

I went with 265/70R17 Big-O branded AT/3's (Cooper makes them for Big-O) in load range C

At full lock left or right, the front wheels are ~1/8" from inner fender
