So, I ordered the Rago canopy/awning mounts thinking it would be a good option for easy swapping of my awning from my 3rd gen to the 5th gen depending on which gen we’re taking out.
After receiving them I’m seeing that the hardware for my Smittybuilt awning, specifically the hex bolts for the awning track, does not fit in the slots of the Rago mounts.
As best I can tell the bolts are 5/16, and just too large. Does anyone know what bolt size Rago recommends or what size others have used?
I tested a 1/4 bolt and it fits the Rago slot, but the hex head is too small for awning track.
I was hoping to use the same mounting hardware, but don’t want to have to drill out the Rago mounts.
Any tips or ideas would be helpful.
