Rain-X Bug Remover - Works Elsewhere too!

I became aware of the Rain-X Bug Remover product over on RV.net. Many were saying it is very effective added to the windshield washer. They say that after it puts a coat on the windshield, the bugs come right off.

So I've been adding it to the reservoir. There's other stuff in there, but after a couple weeks, I began to see a difference. The bugs are coming off much more easily it appears.

So I thought what the heck. If it works on the windsheild, let's try some on the front of the vehicle. So I took a paper towel & applied it to the front 3M clear bra, and other areas.

I don't get as many bugs sticking to these areas, and the ones on there come right off much more easily than before - which took a good deal of effort on a weekly basis.

People are also saying that the Rain-X Bug Remover also adds a thin coat of the famous rain-sheeting action. But, living in Arizona, I haven't experience any rain since starting to use it.

The product is $2 a gallon at Wally World.

I just put it in the spray bottle and use it instead of window cleaner on the outside. I'd be careful around paint, though -- Rain-X can leave its mark on paint.

Thanks. I wonder if the washer fluid stuff leaves marks too. I haven't seen any, but will keep my eye out for it.
