Rain-X on everything

I thought the Rain-X stuff was a hoax... something based on good branding but not much else. Good to know many like it! I'll give it a shot.

if you live in dusty or desert conditions, it will cause the dust to stick. Since I live in a desert/dusty condition, i hate rain-x on the outside of my windows, especially the back window.

It does work well in the rain, lol.

Rain-X works great -- I used to use it all the time, but I noticed that it seems to gum up the wiper blades after a few uses. Nothing a quick wipe-down with an alcohol pad can't fix, but it's still a thing.

I used to love Rain-X and bought it all the time... before I found out the real truth about the company themselves. I know I sound like a hippie but I'm a dog owner myself where I found out this company tests their products on animals...including dogs. I'm nowhere a fan of animal testing so I tend to avoid companies that's associated with animal testing. It's a despicable testing process used by companies because of the aftermath in regard to animals and their health.

Sad to say but there are A LOT of mainstream companies that tests on animals which is why I'm willing to pay few extra dollars for brands that do not test on animals. I have far more respect for companies that do not test on animals because people running these companies are more compassionate and understanding of their consumers' concerns, i.e. animal testing and were able to come up with different ways to test their products without using animals to make a profit.

I cannot imagine my own dog being forced to be used as a specimen for testing in order to make a profit for said company.

Again, I apologize for making this post. I do not pass judgement on those who uses Rain-X...I'm just raising awareness for those who are not aware about Rain-X being associated with animal testing.

I found this to be the case if you apply Rain-X and don't fully polish the glass after application.

If you apply it per the instructions it works great. I wipe it on, let it dry, then buff it off real good, then repeat.

Thanks for sharing your experience with rain-x.Once we tried armorall it was a similar experience.
