This is the transformation of my bone stock 07 SR5 with 184k that I got used in late 2010 with 50k on it in. Feel in love with 4runners in college, while my maxima was in the shop getting hail damage fixed they gave me a 2nd gen for a week and I was in love, Also my room mate had a plush stock 3rd gen that I loved. When the trans went out on the maxima shifting from 3rd to 4th something broke and couldn't get out of neutral. I narrowed my search for a new car down to a 4runner or a 4runner was dead set on a 4runner. 10 months ago I decided it was time to give my runner some love as you could tell it had 184k on it. Started researching my suspension options and a shoping list on rock auto. Settled on Toytec ultimate 5100 with SPC UCAs, Energy suspension polly bushings all around, New lower ball joints, front calipers, Power stop breaks all around, front wheel bearings, spark plugs, valve covers and other random gaskets to do valve covers, trans filter, U joints, and some other random things.

Only stock picture I have is a sad on, on a trailer... the alternator failed me 4:30 in the morning getting on 35w.
10 months ago after I purple powered everything and pressure washed it.
Got everything off that needed rebuilding.
110 degrees outside, made me a shanty town. The town didn't care for it much giving use a letter saying illegal car port and junk car in the drive way!
Everything off, now aint nothing to it but to get to it!
Going back together
On the ground in desperate need of an alignment
I aint afraid to cut.
Looking better
Got my 285's on
The bumper had some whiskey dents in it so it had to go
Week after getting everything torn apart and back together it was time to go on a vacation to Beaver lake in Arkansas.
More whiskey dents needed removing
In the rough
Third bumper done righter
As it sits now, Need to take the bumper off wire wheel it and paint it
More to come when the money is right.
