Ram Mount Location

which base are you planning to use and where are you planning to mount it (front edge of what?). And what do you mean use with a shorter arm, are you planning on having a short arm with a ball then attaching that to the ball on the short arm?

(What you posted is an arm that goes between 2 balls, is that what you meant to post?)

Sorry I was referring to @N/A s original post. I'm looking to do exactly what they did, but with a shorter arm and am wondering if that's even feasible.

Tape isn't reliable and like many others have said. Once i heats up inside the car, the tape will loose its strength. I have drilled too many holes into my car at this point. So I decided to just drew a few more and go with the T4PAM from Expedition Essentials. This thing is great and the USB ports are powered directly to my SPOD so I can charge devices and such when the vehicle isn't on.

For those single overlanders that don't usually carry a passenger, wondering if anyone has modded or mounted their ram bases on Bracketeers or those Extinguisher mounts that LawnDart developed or was involved with, can't remember the name?
