Do any of yall run rancho RS5000's? I can get those for about 50 bucks a shock and I want to run them with toytec 3 inch coil springs will that be a good combination? any help is appreciated...

theyre way overpriced for a generic white shock, save up a few more bucks and get Bilsteins. Id run $27 Rough Country shocks before i spent $50/ea on Ranchos. Nothing against them , theyre ok shocks but nothing special.

I have Rancho RS5000's front and rear, OME 891 coils in the rear with Daystar spacers on the front. I have no complaints so far.

im just looking for something that will work with those coils, and help my truck from squatting when i have a bunch of gear in the back or am pulling a trailer.

They should work fine with the squatting and pulling a trailer, but as far as working with the Toytec 3" coils, couldn't tell you.

You would want one with a little more travel, part # RS5206 is about an inch longer than their stock length shock.

i got some skyjacker 8000 series there for lifted apps so far the work good i got them scratch and dent off there ebay store for like $25 ea if you want ill dig around for the part number

thats what i run , also comparable to the $50/ea Ranchos. Ive got
part # N8022 - i paid less than $40 shipped for the pair. N8055 is the exact same also

heres there store link http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/skyjackersuspension/ look for n8055 if you do by them there a pita to put on as there real close to the right ones but the lower shock bushing is a little wrong what i did is pound out the metal collar put some grease on the inside of the bushing and pounded it in with a rubber mallet tell it was enough to get the bolt started

no just the rears if you need ones for the front with ome lift springs could go with Bilstein 5100's or ome n91's

Also if you are willing to spend a little more money, I'm running the rancho RS9000Pros, the are usually around $100 and buy three get one free. They are adjustable allowing you to change the stiffness depending on what you are using them for. I also run the My Ride controller so you can change the stiffness from inside the truck. I have been very happy with them so far, they are definitely better than the stockers and I feel they are well worth the extra money.

a promo just ended where if u buy a set of 4 shocks you get the wireless MyRide for free. Im sure it will be back up but the buy 3 get one is a good deal also

Ya, I got lucky and was able to get in on both of those offers plus a "springtime specials" deal on the shocks themselves, came out to a little under $300. I you wait it out you can definitely get some really good deals on Rancho stuff.

by the way. could yall post a couple pics of a 3 inch lift with 265-75-16's? i wanna make sure it will look okay with the tires i have because i just got them.
