One of my hobbies is rocket aerial photography. Here's an example. This was taken by a 35mm film camera mounted in a custom built, two-stage rocket:

Thanks! I was using the Olympus Stylus Epic, a pocket 35mm film camera, wired to a custom made timing circuit. I turn the camera on just before launch and it shoots a continuous series of photos until the film runs out.
I also used to do a lot of flights with a Super 8 movie camera and got some pretty cool footage. Someday I'd like to have them scanned and post them on YouTube.
I put the rocketry hobby kind of "on the back burner" a few years ago when I started building my outdoor model railroad, so I don't do it very often these days. If I decide to get back into it again, I want to switch to digital HD video.

Ha Ha! I actually was thinking that looked a little small. 5 gigs would be an entire building back then.
