Did you ever get this figured out?

Yes and no. I wound up taking it to a custom body shop. They got them on and said one side was a total bi#ch to get on, and that was the side I couldn't really do myself. They weren't able to use the supplied rivets and instead had to use use longer, thicker ones. In the end the fit is still off and I don't believe there is a way to improve it on my part. I emailed my frustrations to Randy Ellis Design and they more or less blew me off with some nonsense about the product having some acceptable gap, which I believe I'm way beyond having. I've used a hi-lift on it and regularly stand on it and it doesnt seem to budge, but given the lack of fit and customer service, for nearly $1k I'd recommend people avoid them unless they want to take a chance. The day the sliders take a sizable rock hit I'll report back on if they worked as intended.

Thanks for the update and the heads up. The price increase is quite notable so for that alone I'll probably stick with what I've got now. But still curious on the performance.
