Can you post up what parts #s you used? I just posted up a new thread looking for info on rack repalcement on an '04 V8. Will probably forego the pump tho.

500k+ miles...wow...I'm only at 119k and original owner. At this rate I'll hit half a million when I'm over 115 yrs old lol.

Replaced belt tensioner this past weekend. What a pain. I had to pull loosen the alternator and let it rest on the frame. Also had to remove the power steering pump pulley and the timing belt No 2 cover. Took way longer than any other vehicle I have worked on.

Hopped the truck hard wheeling over Labor Day and ended up stripping off 5 teeth on the ring gear. Threw a used one in this past weekend.

While I was working I added the pan hard correction bracket, new akebono rear brake pads, and all new ebrake hardware (shoes looked good for now). Also added new rear caliper brake lines and extended stainless lines coming from frame down to axle.

When the axles were out one side wheel bearing had some rust in there from water intrusion so rebuilding the rear axles with new bearings will have to happen in the next year or sooner.
