My friend added some small amber and red lights to his bumper that sync with brake and turn that look pretty cool so I was thinking about trying it with the grill just not synced. I have given the satoshi consideration though.

Other than trying to evoke a Semi-truck like image with extra lights... (Ever seen an H2 and how hard it tries?) What is the purpose of those 3 LEDs?

Pretty much just looks. I like the look of marker lights between the headlights and it being a potential inexpensive mod.

I think the raptors are required to have them though because they are wider than the cutoff where you have to have clearance lights. Why they are in the spot they are is beyond me.

I added led strips for that raptor/cool factor. I like them, i just spliced them into my running lights

I've thought about doing this too, I actually have a set of raptor lights that a friend wanted me to put on his F-150, but he changed his mind and just told me to keep them.

I just haven't been able to figure out a clean way, and I'm not sure it'll look good.

yea they work out well and are pretty inexpensive. also used them for my interior for my footwell lighting.

Most Walmarts sell those for about the same price. Or you can get a whole roll like I do from Ebay if you're any good at soldering. The rolls are 16.4ft I believe. Priced between 12 - 20$ depending on the LED size and waterproof rating.

Well I know absolutely nothing about soldering. Although I believe I know someone who does. But I'll have to check Wal-mart. In the auto section or lighting section?

Automotive. My co worker bought some from there yesterday.
