Rattle underneath

2008 SR5 4X4. 24k miles - no mods. (yet)
I have a rattle from underneath. It is only there when I go over bumps. For instance, the lip between a bridge and the solid pavement, I hear it rattle very well. Nothing seems to be broken or malfunctioning but this is a new thing to this toyota.

Ant ideas as to what to look for?

I too have a seat "popping and creeking noise" in both front seats. Driver seat was replaced once, about 1yr ago. I am returning it for a look at both seats now.
Has anyone acually had this seat thing fixed to their satisfaction?

I have that same rattle. I'm calling dealer today to get it fixed under warranty. Happens just as OP describes.

Do either of you have an update? I'm experiencing same suspension noise from front of my 05 V8 Ltd with 4WD. I'm wanting to avoid costly evaluation if possible. :thanks:

I have the same rattle from the front left tire area. Its odd if I tap the brake it goes away please update what you found.

A while back I had a rattle as well, yours could be completely different for all I know, but I would check the heat shield that is mounted above the muffler. It took me a while to track it down since it was very deceiving as to where the sound was coming from. Initially it sounded like it was my roof rack rails that were loose and rattling.
If this is the case it's a cheap fix. Less than $1 in fender washers and you can put the heat shield back together.
