I have a 2017 TRD PRO and have had a rattling noise while driving coming from the front driver side from either from the suspension or engine compartment. Just seeing if anyone else has experienced this??? Thanks!

Its more then likely the engine mud guards. I replaced all of the fasteners(push rivets).. and my squeaks are gone

Historically the Problem

The plastic guys holding the engine mud guards have historically been the problem. There is a write up about how double sided tape was a solution.

Does it sound like metallic rattling? Like chains?

I just bought a new 2018 last Friday and on Sunday I noticed a rattling just like your describing coming from the exact area. Driver side front and when you hit a dip or bumps in the road it does it. It's underneath on that side or under the hood, I looked under it and also under the hood and didn't see anything. I'm going to check these mud guards and hopefully that's all it is.

If anyone ever hears any metallic rattling, like chains, when going over bumps or dips, it could very well be the metal circlips for the bushings on the UCAs. This is the source of my rattling and others as well have reported this issue. They somehow end up coming loose and rattling around in the metal channel they're in. Solution is to put some silicone on it to stop the rattling, as there are other clips holding the dust/grease boot in place over the bushing, or replace the whole UCA, under warranty if it still is.
