When I apply the brakes and come to a complete stop, or if I'm sitting on a steep slope in park, it makes a very annoying rattling sound. What in the sam hell is this sound? It's annoying the piss out of me. Anybody else had this problem?

Check the exhaust heat shieldsmthats what mine was I actually just threw a hose clamp over it and solved it, If you can hear it at idle I would have it in park and get under it and see if you could find it. You might have to have someone hit the gas so it will shake a little to see if you can find the rattle

Without hearing the noise, it could be any number of things.

I'll just throw out a guess that you might have a rattling exhaust heat shield.

Well, friend, my advice would be to park on a steep hill, chock the wheels, if you're scared (see also, smart) and crawl under there with your good listening ears on.

Start by the exhaust, I would be willing to bet you'll find your issue there.

Oh, also, your exhaust LOVES to burn fingers. Wear some thick leather gloves, or poke it with something that will keep you from getting burnt. Pro tip.

Good luck, have fun.

Found the problem. It has an aftermarket cat on it and it doesn't reach the hanger. So every time I put it in gear or am on a steep slope it constantly vibrates on one of the tranny lines. Gotta local fab shop to relocate the hanger for me later this week. Thanks guys
