Rausch Creek FALL trip!! Let's do this!

Yup, I'm on it. No CB yet, and I'm not sure if I'll have the time to rig up a cb and antenna before the trip. Working 12+ hours a day blows. Maybe if someone were to pm/text/FB msg me with what all I need I can get it ordered tonight? Lol

I like the idea of the portable one, as I would only need to have it out when being used...

The cobra brand one is the one that fits in the ashtray slot, correct?

Got one.. I love amazon. I didn't order an adapter thinking that the CB may already come with one.. If not, Radio shack it is. Now I just need to start collecting parts for a second relay box.

Your gonna need a right angle adapter if your gonna put where the ashtray was, it doesn't come with that adapter- I didn't put one on mine(yet) so it sticks out about an inch, I can send you a pic if you want. Also my cell is in my info on FB.

I also posted this on the 4th gen thread

Is it too late to join?

Also,
Any idea how a stock '03 SR5 would do? ive never been to any trails other than some in the woods with some mud pits and things like that...no rocks or anything. I took off the running boards and eventually wanna put some sliders on but I think I'm gonna wait for a lift first (which can't be until at least January; damn power train warranty)

this sounds fun especially since I haven't gone wheeling with anything but Jeeps so far..ugh haha

You'll be fine, I've ran RC stock.. Most the "bad" areas you can drive around anyway. Are you on FB- if so go to that link I posted in here- its a local owners club page- Josh you really need to do this too!! It's easier to keep in contact that way.

Hey everyone, let me first say this is a great site. I am new to this site (as of tonight :) but I am also on yota tech and have been the proud owner of a 3rd Gen for about 5 years+ now.

I have not had the chance to take my rig offroad yet because I was previously busy with school, but now that I am finished and have free time on my hands I was wondering if you guys would mind showing a newbie around if it was not too late to sign up for the trip. My 3rd gen is the 1996 model pretty much stock 4X4 (although I am running the revos).

:thanks:

Welcome to the site!! It's never to late to say your in.. You'll be fine running RC stock, I'd suggest taking your running boards off if you haven't already. You would probably be fine with them on but better safe then sorry.

also, mike, make a thread on yotatech if you want to lets make it a big ass 4runner meet :girl:

Awesome, cant wait to see what the 4runner is capable of. I posted a thread over at yota tech too; so maybe we will get some yotas from there. Not too sure on how to PM on here yet (although I am sure I will figure it) but it would be cool to follow you up there if its not too much trouble. I think I can either head up 476 or 100.

Thanks,
Mike

if you head up 476 and get off at the lehigh valley exit ill meet you right there. you have a cb?

those of us that are camping, i thought of this today. want to throw together a quick list of food to bring and everyone can bring something? simple camp food stuff, hot dogs, buns, burgers, condiments, marshmallows, snack foods, drinks, plates, napkins etc etc byob? any ideas?

^^^ no responses to this, are we bringing our own everything?

Im more then likely not going to camp- but thats still up in the air.. I am bringing my dog though so we may end up staying all depends. The camping area is kinda lame though, its just that one area to the right when you come in. We're going to need to do a head count for whos coming and whos going to camp. Being as some will camp they require advanced notice for that as the area isnt that big. I can call them tomorrow, I just need a estimate on whos staying at the park

Hey guys I was planning on camping if others are. I can bring whatever too if we want to put together a cook out. No CB but I should look into getting one.
