Rausch Creek FALL trip!! Let's do this!

I'm prolly out on the camping thing, something came up on the 2nd...

Oh and Fed Ex lost my lower ball joints... I'm not even sure I'll see my money back before that weekend. Oh well, lets hope they hold up :P

I'm going to, I think if you leave by 10 am the next morning you don't have to pay for another day. I probably wont want to wheel two whole days lol well see though

yikes. oh well, i should do my rear axle seal but thats not happening haha.
 
Lmao- ive got my locker working.. 4x4 only works when it wants to- I've been putting off spending 300 on new skids so yea im gonna have to take it easy too- but the hell with it I've missed two runs this summer.
Canterm- check the local truck stops, most sell cbs etc for descent prices, I think I spent maybe 100 on my whole set up- mini cobra19 that i put where the ashtray was and a 30" antenna w/mount. surprisingly it works pretty well.
 
SRS--sorry to get off topic from the trip, but any thoughts on the handheld CBs. I was thinking of maybe getting one of those along with an attena that way I can take it between different cars.

If you'll use it, get it :)

I found a midway and antenna on amazon for about $55. Hopefully they arrive tomorrow so I can get it rigged up this weekend.

Honestly I couldn't tell you how well they work or don't work as I've never used one- BUT lol there's a lot of guys on here that do use them, so they cant be that bad. For what we're doing your not going to need anything with a lot of range to it, so if that's the route you wanna go by all means do it.

i dont remember who but didnt someone have one at the spring meet? i actually want to buy one for work, im a trucker and im never in the same truck so if one of you actually has one i may want to check it out lol. one week to go!!! :girl:
 
so who is definitely camping at rausch creek? i dont want to do it alone... i believe if you leave the park by 10 am next day you dont have to pay for another day of wheeling.
 
Im down if others are going to be camping, but if not Im only about 1.5 hrs drive back home. Hoping the weather will be decent that weekend.
 
Aww only 10%, I was getting excited for a little mud, lol. Although I would probably end up getting stuck since Im only stock, but im sure it would be a lot of fun.
 
Yea I checked noaa- its got a chance everyday.. I think that number is up to 11 or 12 now, Yotazach85 is bringing his taco up
 
I'm a go. My son and I are coming up. I need to get a cb- quick- and check the "to bring" list posted earlier. Is anyone camping? or hotel? BBQ food or restauraunt with bar after? I will go thru earlier posts to catch up. ALso, I got a new full spare for this (and good to have anyway) but I think its rubbing on a bar, any adviuce?
