If you are looking at spacers, which I dont think is a good idea, then make sure you get ones that go between the top mount and the strut rather than between the spring and top plate. Check out wheelers. You wont be disappointed. They have excellent prices for most things. I think I got the front tundra 5100s and toytec springs for less than $400.


Edit: Also, if you aren't that mechanically inclined, then you can have them assemble the struts for you for the cost of labor. I think $100 or something like that. I do all my own work so I can save money for other cool stuff.

The spacers I'm looking at bolt to the top of the strut and bolt to the top strut mount. I will check them out but as of right now I can get everything for 424 after tax and shipping.

I replaced super and lower ball joints and all 4 wheel bearings (btw sucked ass) but yea I am getting everything ready for lift
 
Spacers are definitely a cheaper way to go, but if you are going to lift, you should do it right the first time, and cry once when the bills fly out of the pocket. No sense in paying twice, that's just my opinion. Toytec has their coilover setup kit on sale right now for 399. It is the springs, and the 5100s. All you have to do is assemble them. If you want them already assembled, I think they have them for 610 or something like that. That is their regular coilover's and not the boss ones and they are the 4runner 5100's and not the tundra ones. They are eibach springs just like the superflex ones are. The front springs you can choose which ones you want depending on how much weight you'll have in the front. If all your rig is, is a mall crawler then I would assume that you wont have any armor or winch so I think they have like a 550 lb spring which would be perfect for a stock front end.

At least it looks like you were going slow and were able to stop pretty quickly. Any faster and who knows what would have happened. The general consensus is that it could have flipped. I've seen it. Not fun. At. All.

I think the coilover kit WITH NO SHOCKS is $399. $609 is with the shocks included. You have to assemble both.

Yes I was at full lock turning. Seems most failures happen at full lock, or wheeling. So usually its a slower MPH failure. But yes it has happened on highway and there are a few roll overs from it. Not good.
 
Ok guys I did the super flex rear coils with bilstine 5100 rear shocks and OME front 3inch strut assembly. Should all be here in a week or so. Then I'm going to order the diff drop and rear track bar relocation bracket
 
Sounds like a good plan. You will be much happier with this rather than the RC stuff. Let us know how it turns out and how you like the ride of the OME setup. I've heard that it is a little stiff off road but decently smooth on the pavement.

I ordered my rear coils and shocks threw wheelers off-road. But it dint add shipping says it needs to process be for adding the shipping. Is this true. Also how long would you say it took them,to ship everything

I will post pics and my opinion as well when I get it put together. Now in trying to track down rear swaybar link disconects
 
Yeah, they don't figure out shipping until they ship your order. You can have them email you what it will cost for shipping before they take your money to give you a chance to say yea or neh. I ordered my stuff on a Wednesday and it was here on Friday. I'm only a couple states away though. You won't be disappointed. So far, one of the best if not the best vendors I've worked with.


For the sway bar endlinks, I know a member on here, [MENTION=98153]MStudt[/MENTION], makes them. You could go that route. I removed my rear sway bar. For the roads here, I think it rides much better with the superflex springs and 5100's. Most of my driving is off pavement. If you do mostly street and highway driving, I don't recommend that. Keep your sway bar and put new endlinks and new bushings on.

I would also stay away from RC lifts. Their lifts do give you a lift, but not the quality you're going to want. I installed their list on my Jeep when I first got it. Not knowing anything about lifts at the time I though it was the sh*t. After upgrading to a better lift I quickly found out how shi*tty it was. Do it right the first time, and save some money in the long run.

I placed my order last night so I should probably get the email today right?.
 
I think they close at 5pm pacific time, so if you placed your order after that, then yeah you should get something today. It's only 740 over there right now, so I would think some time after they open you should have something.

I wouldn't put a spacer lift under my truck, I'll just put it that way…

As mentioned, the typical tundra/ land cruiser lift can be pieced together for pretty cheap and will be miles ahead of spacers in every way
