I reiceved my skids and started to install them. There were no directions. I did get 2 D plates with the Trans skid. Does anyone know where these go?

Mine didn't come with instructions either, but I put mine on the top of the cross-member for the rear bolts of the trans plate, since the holes in the cross-member are too big and the nut and washers would slip right through.

Exactly correct. Josh at RCi installed the 3rd Gen skids on my daughter's 4Runner when they were developing these skids. Just had them off this weekend and the D plates are at the rear of the transmission skid. The hole is off center because that is where the bolt hole is correctly located. the flat part of the D faces to the outside of the vehicle on both sides.

On my 97 the washes actually don't fall through so I guess that's what I didn't see the issue. So flat part faces the frame and the round edge faces in?
