RCI transfer case support bar

What are your experiences installing the cross member from RCI? I'm attempting to install with the OEM fuel tank armor and having some trouble. I need bolts that were not included (not a big deal but the included all the other hardware) and it seems like the fuel tank side is going to be a challenge. The exhaust hanger bracket less of a challenge.

Thoughts?

Use a hammer and massage the area of the fuel tank skid that contacts the t-case cross member. It didn't take much hammering to clear the cross member on mine.

M6 bolts on the cross piece?

Unfortunately, I don't recall the size of the bolts, but I'm sure it was larger than M6. I can crawl under there this weekend to confirm or maybe just give RCI a call (if you can get through) and ask about the size. I've heard they are good about sending missing hardware.

Most of the bolts for skidplates on Toyotas are M8x1.25
