RE-Doing Headliner

Ive searched and searched but nothing yet, has anyone redone their headliner mines pretty badly scratched up and dirty so Im wanting to re do but want to first find out how in depth and hard this would end up being?

I would just call around scrap yards and ask if you can remove it yourself for $30.

It only takes 20 mins to remove and they can't normally sell it.
 
Just a thought, my '96 Taco had a really durable vinyl (I think) head liner and it was super tough and really easy to clean.
 
check out Auto Carpet for Car, Truck, Van - Stock Interiors They sell an SUV kit for 60 bucks, or you can pull the headliner yourself and take it to an upholstery shop. The local shop charges us 140 bucks to recover most any headliner, and they can usually knock it out in a few hours.
