Seems like I recalled that the back cylinder on the driver's side may have some known "issue" related to the head gasket? I get no code, and there's no oil in the coolant; and no coolant in oil; and no coolant is missing.....but I still needed to pull the plugs to take a look. The first one I pulled was the driver's rear plug, and I was a bit surprised. Looks like for one, I left them in there too long (thought they were iridium....which they are not).

It's the one on the right, in the pic. The one on the left is the driver's side front plug. Obviously, they are both worn well beyond anything I expected (as I said, I thought I had iridiums in there....thus I let it go ~80,000 miles). But beyond the huge gap, what do you think of the color/texture of the plug on the right? A little light colored....and not smooth like the one on the left. Seems like a bit of deposit on there, especially compared with the left plug.

Thoughts? Concerns??

Edit- just noticed that the pic is kinda blurry. At least you can see how the left plug is smooth and "coffee"...maybe a little light on the ground. The right one is not smooth but more deposited....and a little lighter.

Hate to reply to my own post....but I just realized- These are the STOCK plugs that came with the truck!:wow2:

Yea, I thought I changed them out a long time ago.....but no, they have 155,000 miles on them!! Gee, wonder why my driver's side catalytic converter is bad? Can't think of a reason why:lmao:

Those are damn good looking for 155k. Just changed out my iridium's with 95k on them gap was in the 50s. Stock gap is 28ish. I went cheap coppers because they were $1.99 each instead of $11 each for the iridiums. You never misfired with that big of a gap??? Coil on plug for the win!
