Readem and Weep Boys and Girls! Finally 85 SR5 is found!

I have been looking for THIS truck for a while now! 85 is THE year as we all know and there getting harder and harder to find. I wanted an 85 SR5 (sunroof, power windows, ALL the cool extra shiznit) I picked this up a few weeks ago for $1600! Has freshly rebuilt 22RE with about 5k miles on it!! Got cancer here and there but nothing major. Seats are in great shape considering. All there...all works. Some OK 31s. Here is a pic but I will be adding more and a SLOOOW build thread. Have been a member for over a year and this is my first post! P.S. Do I sound a little excited? hahahaha

i think you meant SFA. 85 was the last year a solid front axle was in the 4runner. And the first year the fuel-injected 22re was in it. All later years are IFS. Buying an 85 saves you the time, effort, and money of the swap. And yeah, that's why they're sought after. 86 on had ifs. 86-87 had optional 22ret, 88-89 had optional 3VZE V6.

Ive been thinking rhino black on the whole truck but I love that yoter grey metallic! I cant find ANY front bumper I really like except the one from ARB but I think at this point if I put a $1000 bumper on a $1600 truck Ill be like those guys with $3000 wheels on $800 cars! hahahaha Might wait till the truck gets a little prettier before I drop a $1000 bumper on there.
