really annoying rattle

I have an '08 V-6 Sport Edition with a similar rattle. Drove me crazy trying to figure out the source. Sounded like it was coming from somewhere near my left ear.

Turned out the rattle was coming from was the glove compartment door echoing around the cabin.

I still can't believe it but all I have to do when I hear the rattle is open the glove box door and the rattle stops.

I will be shimming it with something shortly.

Anyway, just a long shot idea before troubling with the dealer.

I has same annoying rattle, just cut small round hoses and had metal sunroof rods wrapped in them. Mutch better now.

I'm pretty sure my rattle is coming from the driver-side door or under the steering column. I had a passenger give me their verdict and the agreed. So I guess it's time for a tear-down!

Did you ever find the culprit to the rattle? Same issues here.
