Rear axle assembly

I need to get a rear axle assembly for my 99 4Runner. Any suggestions for a reliable source that would also be inexpensive. I am a student so don't have much money. A lot of what I have found online has people selling them for $400 or more. I am hoping to find something where the rear end AND the cost fo shipping it here would be $400 or less. (Preferrably less, LOL)

There's a place in Wilmington nc called pick n pull they have one there for $225 what you have to pull it out yourself.

DO you mean the entire rear axle (housing/axle shafts/diff/etc)?
What is wrong with your current one?
2WD or 4WD?
What gear ratio do you need?

Try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and search local salvage yards. Might find one nearby that you can go get and haul home.
