An old axle tube works great, but not everyone has a housing to cut up. I've done many of them.

Haven't used it yet. Had to do the coilovers on my GF's car. (I do all the work on her car now so she cant complain when I spend all day in the garage
Now I have a frozen caliper on my Accord DD. I still need to buy the 20ton from HF. I have all the bearings, retainers etc. It's a really solid kit, powder coated & comes with the ABS ring puller. I'll take pics & do a review in my build thread when I get to it.

Working on pulling bearings from a 98. Welded some square tubing and scrap steel together to make a Tool. Tore the welds right off.
Thought and thought about it. Read this thread over and over.
Aha! No fancy welding needed! Picked up some 3/8" 36" threaded rod, nuts and washers from home depot, drilled a couple holes and put this setup together. It was terrifying, but it pulled the axle, sensor ring and bushings off cleanly with a harbor freight 20t press.

FWIW; I didn't have a seal puller handy so I ordered a slide hammer type but it was taking too long to get so I used this to pull the inner seals. Worked great. Caught the lip of the seal and leveraged them out. Easy peazy. Felt stupid for wasting money on the slide hammer puller but maybe it will come in handy at a later time.
