Rear Axle Seal Question

I just wanted to verify that if I pull the abs sensors on the axle and there is gear oil present then the rear axle seals are leaking. I just bought a rear axle with an elocker that had 166k on it at a junk yard. I have been getting it ready and pulled the abs sensors and found oil on them and around the gear that is in the hole. If I need new seals do I have to get new bearings ?

In the end I only paid 350 for the entire drum to drum axle so I'm not too upset.

New bearings are ideal, but not always necessary. I say might as well do everything while you have it apart.
Search "rear axle seal dr coffee" on this forum or google. He has a good thread with lots of info.

I am leaning towards just the seals. I think the diff breather was plugged because when I pullled the fill plug the diff made a pop from the pressure. Anyway I will test the bearings for play.
