Recently I took my 4runner in to have the tires replaced, and I think they told me that the rear brake lines were pretty deteriorated and need to be replaced soon. Does this sound right? I know that the brake pads and rotors are in the front. Also, I am not leaking brake fluid and the brake pedal doesn't seem "mushy." I assume they want me to change out the lines and bleed the brake fluid, but is this something I need to do sooner rather than later? Also, how much should I expect to pay for the parts and labor? Thanks for any advice.
