Rear Brake Pad Wear - Normal?

I wanted to share my results at my 30,200km/18,700mile maintenance service (which I believe is just a rip-off lol). I should note I'm a pretty reasonable driver and often try to drive with the green Eco light on. I usually drive slightly over the speed limit in my day-to-day driving.

Anyway, my front pads are at 8mm and my rear pads are at 5mm on the driver side and 4mm on the passenger side.

I thought perhaps because I commute solo, which is near half my total driving, the uneven wear on the rear pads could be attributed to that, but why so much wear on the rears vs the fronts? Is it because where I live is somewhat hilly and going downhill is causing the rears to grab a lot? Perhaps my e-brake got stuck/frozen during the winter quite often and caused the extra wear?

Just looking for any insight (if there needs to be any) as my service rep @ the dealer wasn't concerned and neither was the mechanic. As per other threads, the front wear seems normal in the relative sense, but the rear wear was a bit of a surprise.

Do our 4Runners have electronic brake proportioning? That can cause the rear brakes to wear faster. Usually, with conventional proportioning the fronts wear faster than the rears because they do most of the breaking. Even with towing often and driving fairly aggressively, my first brake job was at 85k miles when I changed all four.

My rotors weren't in great shape so I changed those as well. Has Toyota gone cheap on us (or are rotors not as substantial as they once were?) because I never needed to replace my rotors in 250k miles on my 3rd Gen (just turned them twice on a rotor lathe.
