Rear Brakes

I need to replace my rear brakes soon, will be going on a cross country trip within a couple of months and the rears are pretty much gone.
I have the Tundra Upgrade up front which is great.

Is there by chance a Tundra Upgrade for the rears?

I wish. Have you seen the rear disc conversion threads? There was a good one not too long ago; made it look not too difficult to do.

EDIT: Here it is. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/106636-rear-disk-brake-conversion-pt-1-a.html

Thanks for the link, and that would be nice (4 wheel disc) but that is far too much modification for my taste.
I was hoping for just a slightly sturdier drum brake since I am most likely going to be replacing the drums.

I figured that was what you were getting at. I don't think there's an easy swap, at least I havn't seen one anywhere, and with as much time as I have spent surfing here and yotatech, I would think I'd have seen it if it existed.

Yeah, most all the braking power is from the fronts and I have the Tundra upgrade in front.
That is why these rear drums are still original from 2002 if I am not mistaken, so will probably just replace everything with all stock OEM parts I guess.

I got one more thing I am going to do before this trip or at least I would like to do it unless there is some problem that I might be asking for if I do.

I am thinking of changing out the intake tube and air filter with this:

AIRAID® - Jr. Kit - 2002 Toyota 4Runner Air Intake

I have heard that sometimes this can cause codes to go off but almost seems like it was in combination with a super charger or something like that.

I guess I will start another post to ask that though.
