Rear bumper back up light LED mod.

I remember seeing a forum member's picture of his LED backup mod for the rear reflector lenses. He basically deleted the reflectors and installed 3 inch square LED lights to be used as back up lights. I've looked in the threads but can't find it.

What I want to do is this. I am sick and tired of parking lot commandos who instead of allowing someone backing out of a stall the right away, they lay on the horn and squeeze by. SO to help them get over themselves, I want some very bright back up lights to go along with the rear hitch mod for radiators that I am making as well. Once upon a time, drivers gave the courtesy to people who are backing out of parking stalls the right of way and didn't get all pissy about it. I had some azzhat flash hits brights and lay on his horn as I was already out of the parking spot. So I backed up to where he came to a stop and he cowardly put his car in reverse to avoid my hitch. I figure if I add a loud BEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEP and BRIGHT ASS LIGHTS that people will get the point....stop being *******s!!!!! If this doesn't work, I will pay the shipping costs for an MRAP.

I'm over selfish people and the only way to get their attention is to get in their faces...with bright white lights.

Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day. everyone is happy happy happy.

You can't control other people, but you can control how you respond to them.

I avoid those situations by backing into my parking spots.

Sorry, but Traffic driving by always have the right of way over another vehicle backing out of a parking spot.

I just got 4 sets of rigid industries d2 duallys. Maybe I can take some time out tomorrow and see if I can fit them into the useless bottom reflectors in the rear. Thanks for the inspiration since I also despise inconsiderate people also.

ahh, Looks like matt did this idea already. I'm going to use a set of rigid d2 dually floods in there and do a remote turn on in addition to turning on in reverse.

That would be the mod. Thank you!!

I am controlling how I respond to others

Where is Matt.........

how would you wire that? I was thinking out this, do you need a SPDT or DPDT ?

one dpdt relay, who uses a spdt relay anymore?
two 3amp diodes

now what to do with these 3 sets of rigid dually d2...one set is going on a 2014 jeep jk at the bottom of the windshield right now

diagram is in my head. cant give away all my hard earned secrets.

just diode off the two trigger lines. this is to prevent the reverse lights from coming on while you turn the lights on remotely. plus prevents power from back feeding to the switch/transmission.

i can give a set to you in exchange for $325
