Rear Bumper Option

I stumbled across these guys a few years back and I just happened to check them out a minute ago. This is a REALLY good deal on rear bumpers according to all the others I have seen.

This looks like a pretty nice bumper, has anyone seen one in person?

I was looking at the latch mechanisim in the photo and that's the only that looks a little clumsy. But other than that I think it's a nice alternative to others at a great price. I especially like the fact that you can remove the swing away carrier when you don't want to use it. So like daily driving around town I can leave it at home and not have to open and close it when going shopping etc... And if I got a flat I can just call AAA.

They look good and the price is good. I think somebody posted a while back that this was a company that changed its name after some serious quality problems (Kennesaw Mountain I think). I'd do a search before sending money (just in case).

the company used to be called kennesaw mountain offroad, or somethin like that. i never dealt with them, but i dont remember hearing many good things about the company

Man, I have been looking at rear bumper options and this one is quite lucrative.
For the same price as a rear CBI bumper w/o tire carrier, you can get this one with the tire carrier, and then some.
The thing is I hate how rectilinear these bumpers are. I am actually leaning towards a savage off-road rear bumper. It looks like it has the best approach angles and is only 95lbs. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a tire carrier, but that can always be solved with a welder.

I wish someone would start making something like this with a tire carrier. Is anyone sick of all these squary, big and blocky rear bumpers?

TAG is kennesaw mtn fab or what ever. I have heard that they had horrible customer service and took some money. Thats why they had to change the name

Here is my (dirty) Savage bumper. It was the first one they did for a 1" BL, turned out really well. I'll be measuring the departure angle this weekend. It is pretty high and it really tucks up under the rear hatch nicely. I give it two thumbs up. :bigok:

So who builds that bumper? It is nice. I was totally going to go Addicted but that bumper might change my mind
