Rear bumper question

Hello all. I have a 2000 4Runner with a rusted bumper and a free 1990 4Runner that doesn't run that I got from a guy up the road. A lot of problems but a fun project. Anyways. Will the 1990 rear bumper fit my 2000 4Runner. Please let me know.

I doubt the 1990 bumper will bolt right up to a 2K, but you can try

With enough money or ingenuity you can make just about anything work - just ask Bruce Jenner :lmao:

Seriously though, like balls on a female. Some things don't go together an that bumper won't fit.

Not 100% as I haven't done it, but I thought they were close, except the mounting points are higher on the 3rd gen. People use 2g rear tube bumpers on 3g trucks.
