I cant believe I have not heard of him before. Just emailed him on a tube style bumper. Might have to change things up.

I’ve been very happy with my CBI rear swing out FWIW. I know they’re a little more expensive but the build quality is fantastic and the lead time is a lot shorter (at least it was when I bought mine). As far as front, I went with Shrockworks and am also very happy with it. Longer lead time but the build quality was just as beautiful as the CBI rear.

I desperately wanted a savage rear bumper swing out to match my savage front, but he has discontinued them. I ended up ordering an Addicted Offroad bumper as it was the closest to match the savage style, and purchased a swing down tire hitch carrier. Not the best, but it works. If you actually live near Addicted Offroad, he will build a swingout for you. You just have to drop the truck off.

The hitch mount carrier is custom made from Detours Of Maine for a 4th gen. I just had to buy a hitch raise/lower adapter to make it work with the Addicted bumper. No biggie. The carrier does allow another hitch to go in just fine. I just test fitted my big Rola carrier for my next hunting trip.

FYI. I was about to order a custom tube bumper from Nguyen Works. Unfortunately, his bumpers do not include a tow hitch. Having a hitch is a vital point for me, so I asked about it, but he says he doesn't include a hitch because he can't guarantee test load. Bummer.

thats totally fair, im bored and love cutting and practicing melting metal then grinding when it looks like poo.
I got very very close to buying a secondhand one multiple times to retrofit. Ended up deciding to start fresh and really solidly mounted to the frame.

I know that now If I'd known a bit more then I would've taken the front, too, even though it was twisted a bit. Also got whole Icon 2.0 suspension off it for 400$ - car was a goldmine...

As others have said, super easy to deal with, and very willing to customize - I was their first order with a drop-down table and a swing arm-mounted receiver hitch and they knocked it out the park. And their price is really hard to beat. I haven't got any decent pics yet, but will post when I do.

Do you mean the hinge assembly? I've only had the bumper for about a month, and have been fairly homebound, but it seems stout. I won't hesitate to load up the bike rack when I get a chance, and have been thinking about adding a single jerry can holder.
