Rear coil decision

The rear of my 2001 4runner was bottoming out so I got rid of the junk #x#x#x#x shocks and got a set of 4600 bilsteins. I still have the same problem without a load and I don't want to blow the shocks. I am looking for a stiffer spring without a lot of lift. I have read about 906's, 890's and 891's. I don't normally carry a lot but sometimes load-er-up and it feels like I am on the axle. Any suggestions or experiences with different coils.

I would source some 99 springs from a 4x4 with 16" wheels. They should be 1" taller than what you have, so without load it won't be a noticeable rake, and with load you'll be 1" taller than you are now.

The 906 would be fine, too, but it will definitely be more harsh.

890/891 will give you 3" of lift. I have the 890s and even with the 881s up front, I have alot of rake (2" higher back than front), so you're looking at an even bigger rake assuming you have stockers up front. Not sure how stiff 906s are, but I would say that's a better choice if you don't want to look sloped.
