Rear cupholder stuck

Hey fellas, my rear cupholder seems to be stuck. I cant push it in for it to release/open. I was able to get it one time by really forcing it in while simultaneously pushing in several directions, but this is a pain.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

(Sorry for sounding a bit raunchy for all you dirty minded peeps)

I found this video very useful YouTube

Mine was stuck in and wouldn't spring back out so I followed instructions in the video. Turns out my problem was the box had crushed a little and pressed down on the cup holder unit and was an easy fix.

I had the same issue and once I got it to open similarly to the way you did I checked it very well and found a couple of french fries jammed in it, once I cleaned it out it work the way it should, there are many little items that can get jammed in there, I read of one guy who had a peanut jamming his up, but if this is your issue it can be almost anything.

I found rocks, pencils, crayons, and coins. Kids cram everything they can into the stupid thing.
