Rear diff lock install?

Im looking to install rear differential lock on my runner. How much will i be looking to spend.
Reason why is because I might need more power offroad. When im on semi- loose gravel (thats not steep) my tires will start to spin and when im on steeper hills or what not. Unless I throw it into 4wd my runner will pick up... But what if I go to more challenging trails will my tires slip on me on 4wd?

I was offroading alone and came across a pretty steep trail ( rocky, loose gravel, dips) down a mountain
(Hunting Grounds) but was worried I wouldn't make it back up.

You will need either the entire rear axle housing or just the elocker third member and modify your housing to fit it. Then make your own locker controller or the stock one. Cost depends on what you get the parts for and how much you can do yourself.
