Rear Differential Question

Ok, hopefully this is my last noobish question. Does anybody know if open differentials were ever offered on the 1986 runner?

All 1st and 2nd gen 4runners came with open diffs.

Would be more awesome if the front and rear were the same as Land Cruisers with e-lockers.

On just about any factory vehicle, it's safe to assume you've got open differentials unless you have a special option package. Lockers are pretty rare on a factory vehicle, while limited-slips saw a bit more coverage.

that or they made a 7.5 in elocker diff.

i already retrofited an elocker in the rear. best mod over any other: lift, tires, armor. i call it my go anywhere switch. only used when i need it
