Rear Fenders

Hey everyone, new to the forums :yo: . Might as well start it off with a question. I'm looking at a 1989 4Runner to possibly buy next week. This 4Runners rear outer fenders are in pretty bad shape on both sides. I've looked all over internet for these fenders and have had no luck. Does anyone know where I could find them?

For less than what you'll spend to repair the metal and make it look good, you could replace with the fiberglass panels and they won't rust again. The metal will certainly rust.

never find an install (I wonder why?) , but I knew I saw an install somewhere , and it was HERE on this site ..
This is the ONLY install I have ever seen on the internet , http://www.toyota-4runner.org/classic-t4rs/57580-1989-4runner-rebuild.htm .. and not sure if he ever finished , but you can see it ended there .

I talked to the owner of wolf steel once .. and he told me " yeah , once they see them , they usually go into a corner in there shop"

I too have person experiance with these .. and I dont recommend them at all . (use to be the western distributor 1 month , and we dropped the line)

Slacker why so negative about replacment panels? Body shops use thme all the time. I was going to buy some for my 92 and cut the pieces i need out.
I ordered replacement panels from jc wittney and panels showed up for a 88 suburban.

not negative about just any panels .. if you havent notices .. this is my life and passion . I restore toyotas for a living .. and the so called "body shops" you mention whom install these pieces are IMO , no more then HACKS just using a "bandaid"

so you are saying because they origanly rusted out a guy should use glass? I guess another 20 years of no rust i would be happy.
