Anyone ever put rear fiberglass on their 3rd gen 4Runner?

If so what brand any pictures?

Anyone ever put rear fiberglass on their 3rd gen 4Runner? If so what brand any pictures?

I don't know of anyone who makes rear glass for the 3rd gen. Have only seen it for 2nd gen. Best bet is probably to open up the wheel wells slightly and then install sport flares with the inner mounts trimmed off, leaving behind only the outer shell. Haven't seen anyone do this exact setup but I trimmed the wheel wells on my old 3rd gen and it stuffed 35's on a stock width axle no problem.

It easy to design for trucks, with suv's you need to incorporate the rear doors and bumper usually. That's why if it is done, it is a completely custom job.

Yeah, I saw it for the 2nd gen 4Runner and figured the door issue was kind of to blame but there is explorer rear glass around.

I'm trying to be think about what I would do if I put a wider axle in the rear to match the long travel kit I'm getting at some point.
